HPT Acquires ETL Certification For All Product Types!!!
HPT is proud to announce that we have acquired ETL listing for all our existing products. ETL is a global safety company with an established history of innovation, safety and quality. The ETL Listed Mark is proof our products have been independently tested and have met the applicable published standard established by the Intertek's Edison Testing Laboratory. The listing is per UL Standard 207 and Canadian Standard CSA C22.2 #140.3.

HPT Recently Secures Project to Install Wrap-Around Heat Pipes for a Major Credit Union
Heat Pipe Technology recently secured a project to install its controllable Wrap-Around heat pipes for a major credit union bank in Florida. The project totaled $245 million dollars and is divided into multiple phases. It will provide 400,000 additional square feet of office space, vehicle parking, and an onsite energy plant. The expansion will also increase the occupancy limit to support up to 2,000 employees.
For this project, HPT installed Wrap-Around heat pipes into two large AHUs totaling 34,000 CFM's. Each AHU will utilize a 6-row controllable Wrap-Around heat pipe to pre-cool and re-heat the air entering and leaving the chilled water coil, respectively. The initial design called for mixed air conditions at 75°F DB / 70°F WB entering the cooling coil and leaving at a temperature of 49.9°F DB / 49.9°F WB. The air would then be reheated to a more comfortable temperature before being supplied to the space. By using HPT's Wrap-Around heat pipes, the cooling load of the system is reduced by 20 tons and reheat savings amounted to 261,000 Btuh.
